The 6 Weapons of Our Warfare
Second Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us we have weapons of our warfare. These are at least 6 of the basic principles we must apply. Read them carefully before proceeding to activate them in the prayer templates below. Feel free to modify the petitions as you are led.
The Word of God
01Dig deep into scripture. Use it as light and daily bread to discern truth from error. Just as Jesus rebuked the enemy, let the Word transform and equip you.
Pray Always
02Speak to God as a close friend. Substitute worldly noise for prayer, using the Book of Psalms as a guiding template when words fail to capture your need.
Power of the Blood
03Apply the blood of Jesus by faith to cleanse, forgive, and protect. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal hidden sins and apply this power for true redemption and peace.
Resurrection Power
04Apply Dunamis, moral power and courage, to heal deep wounds from sin. Break the accuser's access and raise yourself from the ash heap into a new life in Christ.
Raise the Cross
05Remind unseen forces of what Jesus accomplished. Raise the cross by faith to break demonic affliction, expose darkness, and declare who holds absolute authority.
The Name of Jesus
06He is our Deliverer, Healer, Lord, and Savior. At His name, every knee must bow. Never forget the absolute, unrivaled authority carried in the name of Jesus.
